The design team from Street Dixon Rick Architecture, from Nashville, is responsible for the fantastic and unique brick veneer you see in the photo above.
The Sioux City Brick Blair Blend utility size field brick is starkly contrasted by the Acme Brick Dove Gray utility size accent brick and both work together to make this exterior a thing of beauty.

There were over 75,000 of the Blair Blend utility size field brick used on this project and over 8,500 of the Dove Gray utility size accent brick.
That amounts to almost 28,000 SF of brick laid by Shaw & Jones Masonry of Brentwood (TN) and supplied by Southland Brick and Block’s Murfreesboro (TN) location.
The general contractor on the project was American Constructors, of Nashville.

Another unique design feature that I’ve rarely seen, but really like is this radiused section which adds depth and shadows to a long, straight wall.

Here’s a photo that shows how the designers at Street Dixon Rick Architecture used brick columns, tall, narrow windows and louvers to take the end of the building a make it a focal point. It also appears that the relief angles and expansion joints were well thought out ahead of time and installed properly by the masonry contractor, Shaw & Jones Masonry.
Southland Brick and Block appreciates the design team from Street Dixon Rick selecting our products and thanks Shaw & Jones for working with us.
